Data Exchange Portal (DEP)

The State Controller’s Office (SCO) accepts report submissions via the State Controller’s Office Data Exchange Portal (DEP) at https://dep.sco.ca.gov. Reports must be submitted as unsecured PDFs. To use DEP, you must have an internet-connected computer with Google Chrome (recommended), Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari.

Note: Internet Explorer does not work with DEP and should not be used.

To upload files to DEP, your organization must create an account using the Account Passcode provided by the SCO. The Account Passcode is a unique code that enables you to set up a User Accounts in DEP.

If your organization did not receive an Account Passcode, you may request one using the Contact SCO Form available on the DEP home page, or by email at auddephelp@scoca.gov.
