•  A Garnishment is a court-ordered method of debt collection in which a portion of a person’s salary is paid to a creditor. This reference guide will provide quick access to basic tools and resources needed to understand the legal documentation required to process salary garnishments. By the end of this guide, you should be familiar with the required garnishment terminology, the characteristics of a garnishment, the six-step process, and the forms used to complete the process.
