Small Business & Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises Advocate and Liaison

The State Controller’s Office (SCO) Small Business (SB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) Advocate and Liaison assist SBs and DVBEs in doing business with the SCO. The Advocate and Liaison serve as a single point of contact for members of the SB and DVBE community. The SCO uses the SB/DVBE Option whenever possible to contract directly with SBs and DVBEs. Please contact the Advocate or Liaison if you believe your company can provide goods or services to the SCO, have questions regarding contracting with the SCO, or questions regarding the SB/DVBE program.

For more information regarding the SB/DVBE Option, please see the following link: http://www.documents.dgs.ca.gov/pd/smallbus/SBDVBEoption.pdf.

To become certified as a CA SB or DVBE, please see the following link: http://www.dgs.ca.gov/pd/Programs/OSDS/GetCertified.aspx.

To view the SCO and other State agencies’ advertised contract solicitations, please become a registered user of eProcurement. For more information on eProcurement and instructions for the registration process, please see the following link: http://www.dgs.ca.gov/pd/Programs/caleprocure.aspx.

If your company is interested in becoming a prime or subcontractor for any of the SCO’s contract opportunities, please contact the SB/DVBE Advocate.
