February 26, 2018: Introduction to Reporting Unclaimed Property (Oceanside)

Hosted on the campus of MiraCosta College, the North San Diego Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides consulting services and workshops for small businesses in the area.  Representatives of the Outreach and Compliance Unit (OCU) will give a 60-minute presentation detailing how to identify unclaimed property your business may be holding, file reports timely and accurately, and will provide resources for maintaining compliance with California’s Unclaimed Property Law and reporting requirements.

February 27-28, 2018: Small Business Summit (Oceanside)

March 1-2, 2018: Division of Worker’s Compensation Educational Conference (Oakland)

The California Department of Industrial Relations’ Division of Workers’ Compensation hosts an annual educational event for California employers, medical providers, attorneys, and others.  Representatives of the OCU will provide resources for reporting unclaimed property, including unclaimed workers’ compensation benefits, at an exhibitor booth throughout the conference.  View additional details and register for the conference here.
