Health and Safety Code section 33684 was added by AB 1389, Chapter 751, Statutes of 2008. It requires redevelopment agencies to submit a report of all passthrough payments for fiscal years 2003-04 through 2007-08, to their respective County Auditor’s Office on or before October 1, 2008.

Since this statute was not chaptered until September 30, 2008, your County Auditor will be accepting the reports until November 1, 2008.

It is imperative that the data be prepared and submitted in a uniform fashion since the County Auditor’s Office will be transmitting the data to the State Controller’s Office.
