Welcome to the California State Controller’s Office (SCO) web page for the Personnel/Payroll Services Division (PPSD). PPSD administers the MyCalPAYS system and the Uniform State Payroll System (Legacy), audits and processes all personnel and payroll transactions for state civil service exempt employees and the California State University College System. We provide information required to manage the personnel resources of the State and to properly account for salary and wage expenditures. PPSD provides data to the retirement systems necessary for calculation of employee retirement benefits.
Whats New:
Personnel/Payroll Services Division's Statewide Training classes are available for July through December 2013. To enhance our customer service, we plan to evaluate training needs on a statewide basis. In addition, we anticipate resuming offering courses such as Fundamentals of Personnel and Fundamentals of Payroll. Please refer to the State Controller’s website for additional information regarding the Statewide Training Program.
