Media Advisory: Controller Chiang Co-hosts Free Tax Preparation Event in the San Fernando Valley

LOS ANGELES – State Controller John Chiang is hosting a free tax preparation event this Saturday for families and individuals with household incomes of $50,000 or less. Free help is available from certified volunteer tax preparers in multiple languages. Walk-ins are welcome, but to avoid a long wait, taxpayers should schedule an appointment by calling 818-901-5588.
