Monitor Scheduling Calendar (previously Extended Keying Calendar) – November 2023

Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees. 

Description: The State Controller's Office (SCO) has posted the Monitor Scheduling Calendar for November 2023.

Final Reminder: Process Change - Direct Deposit Paper STD. 699 Change Effective November 1, 2023

Action Required: Final Reminder - Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees and take appropriate action, as necessary.

Description: Process Change for Direct Deposit – Effective November 1, 2023, the State Controller's Office (SCO) will no longer accept paper submissions of STD. 699 Direct Deposit Enrollment forms.

How do employees enroll or change Direct Deposit?

• • • Create an account in Cal Employee Connect (CEC)
    • Employees are required to be on their department network to enroll in Direct Deposit or make changes to an existing enrollment.
      • If the employee is new to state service, they will need their first warrant to create the account.
      • If the employee is not on a network computer, the Direct Deposit Feature will not be available.
• Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • If MFA has not been enabled, the Direct Deposit Feature will not be available.

Cancelation of Direct Deposit is completed by contacting the Direct Deposit program at (916) 372-7200 and selecting option 1.

If more than three cancellations, please upload a list via ConnectHR and select the Direct Deposit Cancellation ONLY option.
