  • The Jeanne Clery Act requires an annual security report from each campus by October 1 that includes crime statistics for the past three years of Clery reported crimes on campus; on non-campus properties; on public property accessible from the California State University (CSU) campus; and institutional safety policies such as alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, sexual assault, and other matters. You can obtain a full copy of this report online at www.calstate.edu/clery/ or request paper copies from your CSU police department.

The report includes on-campus Student housing fire statistics; a description of fire safety systems; the number of fire drills; procedures for housing evacuation; fire safety education programs; any planned Improvements in fire safety; and policies and rules on appliance use, smoking, and open flames in student housing. You can request copies from your campus housing office.
