CalATERS Implementation Training

Our experienced staff have a comprehensive understanding of the CalATERS application and will work with your department to meet your training needs.

Training Services

Training Facility

We have a dedicated training room within the State Controller's Office with 18 computer workstations.

Training Database

The Training Database mimics the CalATERS application and is used by classroom participants in a series of hands-on keying activities. It is also available for system demonstrations.

Web Site Instructions

The CalATERS web site provides instructions and demonstrations for all CalATERS users.

Training Classes

We provide a two-day training class for accounting staff who will have administrative responsibility for CalATERS and an optional one-day class if there are non-accounting staff who will be providing help desk assistance.

Courses include:

• CalATERS roles, system workflow and forms processing.
• New User Registration.
• How to create, submit and approve forms.
• Department help desk tools and solutions.
• Accounting specific approval capabilities (2 day only).
• CalATERS Reporting System demonstration (2 day only).
