Affordable Care Act – 2022 1095-C Corrections Process Complete

Action Required: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees.

Description: The State Controller’s Office has completed the Affordable Care Act (ACA)1095-C corrections process for the 2022 reporting year. Any employee or worker who had a change to their health benefit status or hours worked in 2022, may receive the following:

  • A corrected 2022 Form 1095-C
  • A newly issued 2022 Form 1095-C
  • A letter voiding their previously issued 2022 Form 1095-C

The State Controller’s Office has updated the data provided in ViewDirect/Mobius View report PDA1782, for reporting year 2022, to reflect the most accurate 1095-C information. Report PDA1782 reflects the following employee 1095-C records:

  • Employees with no change to their originally issued Form 1095-C
  • Employees newly issued a Form 1095-C during the corrections process
  • Employees issued a corrected Form 1095-C

Employees whose original Form 1095-C was voided during the corrections process are no longer reflected on report PDA1782.
